Get Up and Grove - Get Up and Grove: Session One Need to get fit? Want to look great and feel amazing this summer? I've got good news... "Get Up and Grove" is almost here! This is an outdoor fitness class located at Abington's "hidden gem" (Island Grove Park). Class includes a low impact aerobic warm up, strength and resistance training to help tone your entire body, a good amount of stretching and a little meditation at the end of the week. Class is taught by Barbara Rae, a Group Fitness Instructor with 20+ years experience. Class will be held twice a week (Wednesdays and Fridays) and there are four morning sessions this year so sign up before they fill up. Make sure to bring a yoga mat (or towel), a set of 5lb weights (or soup cans) and plenty of water! Class meets on the beach in front of the snack shack, parking available on Lake Street. Schedule: Wednesday & Friday 5:30 am - 6:30 am
